Scott Schubert joined Putnam Lovell in December 1999, focusing on origination and execution of M&A and public and private equity financing assignments in the firm’s Securities Brokerage & Financial Technology investment banking practice. Some transactions on which Mr. Schubert has worked include:
- Pax Clearing Corporation's sale to Merrill Lynch
- Derivatives Portfolio Management, L.L.C.'s sale to Mellon Financial Corporation
- Vector Partners' sale to Banc of America Securities
- EMAT's sale to the Bank of New York Co.
- LFG Inc.'s sale to the Bank of New York Co.
Prior to joining Putnam Lovell, Mr. Schubert was a Vice President in the Financial Institutions M&A Group of Salomon Smith Barney and before that a Vice President in the Global M&A Group of Citicorp Securities where he was responsible for origination and execution of M&A assignments in the banking and investment management sectors. Mr. Schubert has eight years experience in international and domestic M&A for financial institutions, including a number of successful assignments in the Canadian investment management sector.
Mr. Schubert received a Master of Business Administration Degree with distinction from the NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, in Finance from Rider College. Prior to business school, Mr. Schubert worked for Corestates-New Jersey National Bank as commercial lending officer.
