Nirav Hathi is a Managing Director, focusing on asset management and insurance mergers & acquisitions in Europe. At Putnam Lovell, Mr. Hathi has advised on the following transactions:

  • Investec plc's reverse merger of its private client subsidiary Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite Limited with Rensburg PLC
  • American Express Co.'s sale of its Luxembourg private banking business to UBS AG
  • New Star Asset Management's sale of six unit trust management contracts to Aberdeen Asset Management
  • Momentum Holdings' sale to Pioneer Global Asset Management SpA
  • Taylor Young Investment Management’s sale to Alpha Trust Investment Services S.A and Audley Twiston-Davies

Prior to joining Putnam Lovell, Mr. Hathi worked as a Senior Executive in Ernst & Young UKs lead advisory team advising on a number of merger & acquisition transactions across sectors.

Mr. Hathi received a Master in Finance from London Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
