Chris Browne is a Senior Vice President in the New York office focusing on client coverage and relationship management, transaction execution, and general advisory work. Mr. Browne initially joined Putnam Lovell in 2000, where he spent four years working on transactions such as:

  • Principal Financial Group's sale of BT Australia to Westpac Banking Corp.
  • Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management LLC in its sale to Phoenix Investment Partners
  • National Asset Management's sale to AMVESCAP plc
  • Allianz AG in the sale of Parametric Portfolio Associates to a management-led buyout group
  • Glenwood Capital Management in its sale to Man Group plc

Before joining Putnam Lovell in 2000, Mr. Browne was an Assistant Vice President in the Treasury/Funding group at Deutsche Bank AG (formerly Bankers Trust Company) after having worked in other groups including Structured Finance and the Corporate Trust and Agency Group. Prior to rejoining Putnam Lovell in 2007, Mr. Browne spent three years working on entrepreneurial ventures in the consumer and real estate sectors.

Mr. Browne received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and he graduated cum laude from Fairfield University with a BS in Finance.
